We know that’s an ambitious vision. That means challenging ourselves and our clients every day, striving for growth, and delivering real impact. You can see more about our mission in our CEO’s TEDx talk, “The purpose of profit: the business of securing a sustainable future.

You can read some of their stories here.

We’re a close-knit team, working together towards a shared vision. All that’s missing is you!

The role and its responsibilities

We are looking for a Communications Consultant to act as a strategic powerhouse within our Comms team. Key responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of integrated sustainability communications projects. This includes everything from drafting "Impact Reports" to creating multi-channel sustainability content and messaging that resonates with diverse audiences.

  • Assisting senior leads in facilitating leadership messaging workshops and developing communication roadmaps and sustainability messaging.

  • Helping clients navigate the complex regulatory and ethical landscape of sustainability, ensuring every green claim is ambitious, evidence-based, and transparent.

  • Acting as a lead writer and content creator, distilling complex ESG data and technical sustainability topics into engaging, human-centric narratives that avoid greenwashing.

About you

You believe that humanity and businesses need to make a seismic shift in the right direction and want to apply your communications capabilities to help make that happen. At the same time you want to work in a friendly, collaborative and empathetic team who are delivering impactful projects for high-profile clients. You will especially enjoy working at Seismic if you have a growth mindset and are comfortable with uncertainty, as we are a fast-growing, agile and evolving business.

To be successful in this role you would need the following attributes:

You are proactive, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy juggling multiple projects and priorities and enjoy just the right amount of time pressure to help keep productive and focused. You are a ‘people person’ with a knack for building relationships.

You are more excited by the opportunities of working for a young, fast growing, ever evolving, purpose-driven business than for a large corporate.
