Job Description

Our Programme Advisory business, set up in 2018, offers services to clients in the strategy, set-up and transformation of their capability to deliver major programmes and projects, with a market leading client base across the public and private sectors. Our key differentiator in the market is that we offer practical, accessible advice informed and underpinned by broad technical delivery capability and industry experience of our core business.

As part of Programme Advisory, the Regulatory team specialises in supplying strategic advisory and assurance services to regulators for major programmes and asset owning organisation within the utilities , power, transport and telecoms sectors in the UK.

We are seeking talented individuals at Consultant, Senior Consultant and Principal Consultant grades to be based from our Birmingham office (other UK locations can be considered) who are seeking the next step in their career, and are motivated to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of regulated industries, supporting our clients to deliver excellence in governance, compliance, and strategic transformation. Joining the team will afford you exciting opportunities to directly support world renowned clients, enhance your consulting skills, shape your career, and directly contribute to the team’s exciting growth trajectory.

The ideal candidate will have experience of capital delivery, operations, customer service, regulation, or asset management with an ability to diagnose performance improvement opportunities and deliver the changes needed to realise them.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading/supporting the identification and implementation of strategies that improve governance, operational performance and/or reporting
  • Leading/supporting projects looking at how regulation and policy impacts on companies and other stakeholders and auditing or reviewing submissions from companies to determine if they align with regulatory requirements and expectations
  • Leading/supporting projects with companies in the development of their periodic business plans or investment programmes
  • Leading/supporting projects with regulators to deliver strategic sector goals
  • Leading/supporting business generation activities
