Camarco London is hiring a consultant or senior consultant to join its digital team.

We are a financial communications consultancy, owned by APCO, which protects and promotes its clients’ reputations, helping them to communicate with their stakeholders, and enabling them to meet their corporate objectives and enhance their valuations.

The Role:

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant at Camarco, you will support the delivery of integrated communications programmes across a portfolio of corporate and financial communications clients, liaising with C-suite, Board Directors and senior client contacts. You will contribute to strategic advisory work, content development, campaigns, business development and account management activities.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients, sectors and stakeholders, as well as opportunities to collaborate with APCO colleagues across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities and duties:

Advisory and consultancy

  • Providing regular strategic counsel to clients, prospects and colleagues (written and verbal)

  • Research into key client themes and industry/communications trends to benefit our clients

  • Produce data-led and insight-driven reports and presentations for clients and prospects to aid strategic decision-making

  • Deliver insight into what forms part of engaging and effective stakeholder communications, particularly online

  • Draft and/or contribute to credentials, proposals, request for proposal (RFP) responses and other business development activities 

  • Support the development and execution of digital strategies for key clients, with support from wider account teams and the broader digital team 

 

Account/client management

  • Be the first point of contact for clients, escalating and looping in the wider team as and where required

  • Liaise with internal client teams to ensure account and client expectations are met

  • Craft meeting materials such as presentations to bring together activities and progress across internal teams for presentation to the client

  • Capture key client feedback and decisions, to aid clients and colleagues

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a digital or online communications role

  • Strong understanding of corporate communications and the regulatory landscape

  • Experience across social media, corporate websites and emerging digital communications trends, combined with a passion for the evolving digital landscape

  • Awareness of and interest in the evolving AI and generative engine optimisation (GEO) landscape

  • Hands-on experience planning and delivering paid social media campaigns, from audience and budget strategy through to execution, optimisation and reporting

  • Experience using digital monitoring, analytics and collaboration tools such as Brandwatch, Meltwater, Talkwalker, GA4, Canva and Miro

  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to develop content for a range of corporate stakeholders while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate internal and external stakeholders effectively

  • Confident presenting insights, recommendations and points of view to colleagues and clients

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders

  • Demonstrates curiosity, creativity and commercial awareness, with an interest in current affairs, politics and marketing communications
