Consultant - Allegro Technical

What will you be doing?
As a consultant at capSpire, your role will provide you with considerable challenge, variety and development opportunity in a client-facing environment. You will work as part of a core team delivering exciting and complex programmes for our clients such as power & gas utilities, oil majors, commodity trading houses and brokers. You will be engaging in strategically important client transformation projects based in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to understand client requirements and translate them into technical configurations in Allegro.
- Perform system configuration, scripting, and development tasks within the Allegro platform (e.g., .NET C# integration).
- Support end-to-end implementation activities including design, build, test, deploy, and post-go-live support.
- Assist in system integrations (APIs, middleware, upstream/downstream systems).
- Troubleshoot issues and provide production support to ensure system stability and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience implementing or supporting Allegro ETRM solutions in a consultancy or client-facing role.
- Strong understanding of Allegro’s data model, transaction lifecycle, and key modules (e.g., trading, scheduling, risk, settlements).
- Experience with Allegro Class Events and/or integration technologies (e.g., .NET, SQL Server, XML, JSON).
- Solid understanding of energy/commodity trading business processes.
- Comfortable working with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to client locations as per project requirements.
Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years of experience implementing or supporting Allegro ETRM solutions in a consultancy or client-facing role.
- Strong understanding of Allegro’s data model, transaction lifecycle, and key modules (e.g., trading, scheduling, risk, settlements).
- Experience with Allegro scripting (JVS) and/or integration technologies (e.g., .NET, SQL Server, XML).
- Solid understanding of energy/commodity trading business processes.
- Comfortable working with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
