Advisors & Consulting Services
Services within Mastercard is responsible for improving the digital payments experience, acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, and enhancing cybersecurity. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Within Master Services, our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Strategy & Transformation consultants lead clients through impactful decision-making as they tackle strategic, tactical, operational, and transformational business challenges. They apply a broad set of problem-solving techniques to improve the client's overall strategy, performance, and operations.

Roles and Responsibilities
Client Impact• Contribute to the development of strategies and programs for regional and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value• Provide analytical and creative inputs on projects across a range of industries and problem statements• Collaborate with Mastercard team to understand clients' needs, agenda, and risks• Develop working relationships with client teams and managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner
Team Collaboration & Culture• Collaborate with project managers and project members to identify key findings, to prepare effective presentations, and to deliver impactful recommendations to clients • Independently structure your workstreams, perform required analyses and synthesize own findings • Take ownership and lead internal and client meetings• Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital as well as internal and external initiatives• Receive mentorship from senior consulting leaders for professional growth and development
Qualifications
Basic qualifications• Degree from a renowned university or business school with a track record underlining your commitment to excel• 2 years of full-time work experience in a fast-paced role in strategy or management consulting, corporate strategy, business intelligence, business line or product management• Ambitious and result-oriented individual seeking to grow your career in an international setup• Strong analytical skills to tackle complex business problems• Ability to perform several tasks with multiple clients in a client-centric and results-driven environment• Good people skills to manage stakeholders successfully and communicate convincingly • Ability to communicate effectively in English and German language • Eligibility to work in Austria• Ability to travel to client sites, both nationally and internationally, on a semi-regular basis
Preferred qualifications• Ambitious mindset with willingness to go the extra mile • Strong analytical skills, allowing you to address complex problems, derive tangible results, and implement the best solutions• Experience managing workstreams yourself, taking end-to-end responsibility for results in a competitive environment• Working experience in a leading strategy consulting firm or renowned bank is considered a plus
