About the Position

Reporting to the VP, Senior Compliance Manager, the Conduct Risk Manager will provide support to the UK Monitoring and Compliance functions in a wide variety of areas. You will be part of the Legal, Regulatory & Compliance team work closely with the Delegated Authority and Claims teams, as well as Underwriters.

Key Responsibilities

  • To have responsibility for the performing of product risk assessments for the syndicate’s portfolio; 

  • To be responsible for monitoring key regulatory developments relating to Conduct Risk and managing any impact to the syndicate; 

  • To assist with maintaining and enhancing the Conduct Risk Framework in place; 

  • To prepare, develop and enhance Conduct Risk Management Information; 

  • To have responsibility for Complaints handling for the syndicate; 

  • To provide training to the business and Senior Management on Conduct Risk; 

  • To act as a Customer Champion within the syndicate and work closely with Underwriting, Claims, Legal and other functions to consider customer outcomes; 

  • To prepare the Annual Consumer Duty report for the Board; 

  • To have ownership of the Lloyd’s Insurance Company Secondee processes in place for the syndicate; 

  • To act as the Secretary to the Customer Review Committee and maintain papers and minutes; 

  • To work closely with the Delegated Authority team and manage queries and referrals relating to Conduct Risk, the Insurance Distribution Directive, Licensing and general queries relating to binding authorities. 

  

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s, Lloyd’s Insurance Company requirements relating to Conduct Risk and the Consumer Duty.

  • Strong knowledge and experience of binding authorities and delegated claims administrators.

  • Strong and relevant experience working within a Compliance or Conduct Risk team in a Managing Agent or a UK insurer.
