The Role:

As a Computer Vision Engineer you are presented with a unique and exhilarating challenge: You will be building flexible, scalable and maintainable deep learning pipelines. You will be working on 2D image-classification, object-detection, semantic & instance segmentation, metric learning, smart filtering and many more while researching the latest applicable SOTA methods.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop 2D/3D imaging based solutions to recognize objects, anomalies or certain events.

  • Contribute to the design and development of in-house MLOps.

  • Implement end-to-end CV / ML applications and deploy them to production which will be running 24/7.

  • Apply SOTA methods to create the next generation of robotics with an international multidisciplinary team.

Who You Are:

  • A very skilled and experienced computer vision or machine learning engineer who has a professional background in 2D/3D Computer Vision and 2D/3D Deep Learning.

  • A professional software engineer who has implemented solutions for production grade systems for 3+ years.

  • You have extensive experience with Python and are familiar with other programming languages, such as C++.

  • You have experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensorflow, computer vision frameworks such as OpenCV, Numpy, Pandas and others.

  • You have in-depth knowledge of model optimization, model conversion, model deployment and are familiar with edge device compute.

  • You have experience with MLOps, experiment tracking, data versioning and model serving on platforms such as MLFlow, W&B, CometML, ClearML, etc.

  • You have experience with imaging hardware, such as industrial cameras, 3D cameras and stereo systems.

  • You have a product oriented mentality.

  • You have the ability to break down complex problems into small sub problems and build efficient hierarchical solutions.

  • You have the capacity to work with multidisciplinary and international teams and are an excellent communicator who can articulate complex architecture and solution design concepts in a clear, compelling manner.

  • You are passionate about robotics, automation, and the transformative potential of intelligent systems.

Good to Have:

  • You have experience with synthetic data generation, domain transfer and an ability to design smart and optimized data collection strategies.

  • Experience with ROS, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS / GCE.

  • Experience with NVIDIA edge devices, deployment and robotics stack.

  • Experience with Multi Domain models and contrastive learning.
