Purpose of the role
The Senior Manager, Central Compliance will play a vital role in strengthening the Company’s culture of ethics and compliance. We are looking for a highly organised and experienced compliance professional—someone who is comfortable operating autonomously and leading our Compliance governance and management information programme.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Compliance governance, metrics, management information, and risk management frameworks.
This role will partner closely with the Compliance and Risk teams, the Compliance Leadership Team, and subject matter experts and stakeholders across the Group.
The position reports to the Director, Central Compliance, based in London.
What You'll be doing
Develop and maintain the compliance management information framework in line with regulatory expectations and internal policy requirements.
Oversee the Compliance reporting calendar, to support Group Compliance in meeting all internal reporting deadlines.
Identify opportunities to use data, technology, tools, and analytics to enhance programme effectiveness and support strategic decision-making.
Design and manage a suite of compliance metrics that assess the ongoing impact of the Group’s Compliance programme.
Analyse and interpret data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support and deliver Compliance governance projects.
Serve as the main point of contact for governance, management information, and metrics-related enquiries.
Track adherence to the annual Compliance budget.
Contribute to the Compliance risk and control programme.
Provide support to the Director, Central Compliance on ad hoc projects.
What You'll bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a compliance professional with a strong focus on governance frameworks, metrics, and management information.
Experience working with risk management frameworks.
Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey regulatory information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, including Excel and Power BI.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and follow‑through.
Effective time‑management skills with sound judgement and discretion.
Adaptability as team needs and priorities evolve.
Preferred Qualifications
Compliance certification or qualification.
Project management experience.
