Compliance and Risk Officer Apprentice programme

Our 18-month programme offers the chance to work in the Compliance team and develop your knowledge, skills, and behaviours to accelerate your career in Compliance.
You will learn about FCA and other regulations, how to deal with compliance/risk issues and ensure compliance is maintained.
Through the Apprenticeship programme you'll work alongside Compliance colleagues to:
- Contribute to the management and monitoring of compliance by Chaucer Group with international sanctions
- Assist in general Compliance monitoring, maintaining appropriate records and working with other business areas to ensure requirements are met.
- Produce compliance timetables and regularly monitor adherence to ensure regulatory and other deadlines are met, including alerting and reminding other teams
- Review, monitor, investigate and report on financial crime matters through the Compliance Officer & Head of Compliance
- Assist in review and distribution of regulatory information and news as appropriate throughout the business
- Maintain and document appropriate compliance systems and procedures
- Assist with the management of broker relationships via Terms of Business Agreements (ToBAs) and the administration of ToBAs
- Undertake other tasks and participate in projects within the Compliance Department as may be required while managing your own workload.

What you need
- An unrestricted right to work in the UK
- Be a current resident in the UK and have lived in the UK for 3 years
- Able to commute to central London
- Not hold a higher qualification in the same or similar subject
- 3 or more A-Levels or equivalent (A-C)
- GCSE in Maths and English - grade 4 (C) or equivalent
- IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
Please note: We will only accept ONE application for our graduate and apprentice roles. Please do not submit multiple applications, as this could lead to Chaucer removing you from the entire process.
