Overview:

Compliance is an experienced team based in London, New York and Singapore, and is supported by the Legal team.  The Compliance team has five people based in London covering offices in the UK, Dubai, Switzerland and Jersey, one compliance officer based in Singapore covering the Singapore office, and one in New York covering the US offices.

Role requirements:

The role will be within the London Compliance team, primarily AML / KYC focused, with the opportunity to become a Compliance generalist.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • KYC/AML analysis and approval of all trade counterparties, vendors and private investments;
  • Assist with BlueCrest’s daily regulatory reporting requirements, including short selling and major shareholding;
  • Assist with BlueCrest’s market surveillance monitoring, such as communications monitoring;
  • Approvals for personal account dealing transactions for staff;
  • Approval for all gifts and entertainment for staff;
  • Conduct targeted AML training for key infrastructure teams e.g. Finance, accounts payable;
  • Liaising with various support teams – Operations, fund accounting, legal, finance, HR and London Compliance.

Experience required:

  • Compliance Analyst or Associate with 3+ years of experience at a fund / investment manager or bank;
  • Main experience must be KYC and AML analysis for trade counterparties, vendors and private investments;
  • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint (essential).
