Job Description

The Competitor Intelligence Senior Analyst is responsible for tracking and reporting on the activities and strategies of competitors within the sports & gaming industry. This role plays a critical part in shaping understanding of the competitive space and providing valuable insight to stakeholders and across the team.

  • Competitor Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously monitor and assess competitor actions, including UX updates, product launches, partnerships, and financial reports to identify strategic insights.
  • Industry Trend Awareness: Stay informed on gaming industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant findings into team strategies.
  • Insight Integration & Reporting: Incorporate competitor strategies and insights into regular team reports, providing context for decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Data Collection Optimisation: Identify and suggest opportunities for expanded data collection, such as app store reviews and social platforms
  • Validation & Quality Control: Stress-test recommendations and insights to ensure they align with competitive context and market realities.
  • Research Leadership & Collaboration: Lead ad-hoc competitor research surveys, support the management of benchmarking vendors, and ensure findings are effectively communicated to the team.
