Job Responsibilities :

The Community Specialist (UK) is responsible for growing Razer’s community at an exponential rate through influencer collaborations, targeted sponsorship campaigns and engaging content strategies which includes content creator research, event networking, agency collaboration, specific social media activations and having your hands on the pulse of gaming with focus on the UK market mainly although other additional markets can be added.

Working directly with our wider Community and Marketing Team, the job entails the following:

  • Influencer collaboration: Establish and maintain regular communication between the brand and influencer partners, actively source and negotiate new influencer partnerships.
  • Ambassador sponsorships: Manage contracted influencer deliverables and prepare deliver routine reports (including performance data analysis) on relevant influencer metrics.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute paid influencer campaigns to promote products in exciting ways for our community and ensure meeting objectives and budgets with focus on authentic content.
  • Community Growth: Build a UK based community through social media by leveraging influencer content, content localization and growing regional channels.
  • Content Coordination: Support the wider community team by planning content for social media in a structured way and localizing global campaigns for the regional markets.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Streamline reports from influencers, agencies and other operational tasks to maximize effectiveness, always-on improvement possibilities, proper budget management.
  • Teamwork: Working closely with the internal stakeholders in marketing & PR as well as other departments.
  • Stay Updated: Actively keep a pulse on emerging influencers and trends through various social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Twitch and YouTube.

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree relevant discipline such as Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or PR or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in the field of influencers within agency or corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Successful track record of elevating brands and influencers alike.
  • Structured work ethic paired with a hands-on mentality.
  • Openness and team competence.
  • Must be a gamer.

Good To Have:

  • Understanding of social media best practices, online marketing, and engagement techniques.
  • Knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools as well as proficiency in photography or videography.
  • Fluency in other languages such as French, Turkish, German, Spanish, …
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Knowledge and experience in Community Marketing for console gaming related brands and products.
