As Community Marketing Specialist you will be acting as a guardian for the brand supporting in driving the community engagement across our digital platforms. Managing the day to day execution of our social channels and the store ambassadors. You will support in execution of events alongside the other members of the brand team. Supporting the Global Digital Marketing Manager to drive the mid funnel storytelling of the brand to reach and engage more consumers. Expectation is that one day a week this role is spent in the field nurturing relationships and identifying opportunities.

The role you’d play

  • Be a guardian for the brand ensuring all campaigns representative of our brand mission and values. 
  • Plan, execute and measure the success of social and community led brand campaigns. 
  • Support the Digital Marketing manager in co-ordinating channels and teams to deliver key brand campaigns and product launches and understand how we are supporting these through content, copy and communication plans. 
  • Manage critical paths from concept to delivery in line with direction from Digital Marketing manager.
  • Be active within the fitness community, always on the look out for ways to connect Sweaty Betty digitally and physically with the sisterhood.
  • Create a network with the store ambassadors, meeting regularly in person in store, capturing content and building relationships
  • Work alongside the Sweaty Betty foundation to align on messaging on relevant social channels
  • Manage the social calendars, scheduling and writing captions, being proactive with this and responding to consumer moments to build digital sisterhood.
  • Be the day to day contact for the store ambassadors, briefing and working with them to get best in class content.
  • Be able to create and brief social content that’s native to our core platforms IG, Tiktok and Pinterest, so you’re able to shape the visual look and feel of accounts.
  • Be culturally aware understanding opportunities for social led content and be pro- active in creating this.
  • Work collectively with other brand experts across the brand team, leaning in to support when needed on ad hoc projects 
  • Work collaboratively with other channels to deliver best in class Social & Digital initiatives that increase brand awareness and make maximum impact.
  • Schedule and upload posts across all platforms.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new features of existing platforms and / or expanding to new platforms opportunities.
  • Ensure all social output is on brand and complies with tone of voice and brand guidelines.
  • Create best practices and guidelines for brand team, influencers, store managers and contributors
  • Support in the execution of brand events, managing the relevant POS, Food and Beverage, Content, talent requirements in line with the other Community Marketing Specialist and on direction from the Marketing Managers

About you:

  • Proven experience in executing full-funnel, 360° marketing campaigns in the lifestyle or related industry.
  • Ability to drive brand awareness and consumer engagement across social channels.
  • Experience managing a global social account desired
  • Expertise in understanding consumer behaviour, category dynamics, and cultural landscapes to create compelling and relevant brand stories.
  • Finger on the pulse of the social landscape
  • Finger on the pulse of the activewear market and community, knowing who’s culturally relevant and who we should be working with next.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Ability to support cross-functional projects and drive marketing initiatives.
  • Happy to roll sleeves up and get stuck in – have a can do attitude
  • Strong ability to develop and analyse performance metrics to optimize marketing efforts and achieve business results.
  • Experience of building communities both online and in person.
  • Experience in events
