About the role:

 The Community Executive plays a key role in ensuring exceptional creator-brand matchmaking and driving creator-focused strategies within their business pod. They support the development of community-led strategies, create creator longlists, produce community insights reports, and organize workshops and panels. Collaborating closely with client and strategy teams, they streamline access to creators, provide data-driven insights, and position Whalar as a trusted leader in creator expertise.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:Creator Sourcing

  • Set the Standard: Be a custodian of excellence when it comes to identifying diverse, high-quality creators that excellently match client needs.  
  • Client Pitch Support: Identify and vet creators globally across multiple platforms for new and repeat business opportunities.
  • Creator Longlists: Build creator longlists to support large-scale briefs and AORs, leveraging agency relationships (including The Sixteenth).

Creator Storytelling

  • Community Landscaping: Conduct research to define the size and scope of opportunities to engage a community/audience. Draw insights from this research to help the wider team make better strategic decisions and support pitch development.
  • Client Pitch Support: Support in the creation of creator-focused slides, using relevant references that excellently showcase communities and creators, for pitches and team meetings.

Creator Strategies & Initiatives

  • Longterm Creator Strategy Guidance: Use creator feedback, campaign insights, your understanding of creator industry trends and your knowledge of your assigned brands to form strategic recommendations for key longterm accounts and AORs. 
  • Community Workshops/Panels: Organize creator-led workshops and panels for clients that require inspiration or education of the creator economy and the communities within it. Ensure excellent creator-brand matching that will aid in leading to insightful and persuasive takeaways.
  • Creator Engagements: Support the team in building a Whalar-led creator community by building strong relationships with creators and helping organize workshops, roundtables and newsletters, facilitating moments where our community can collaborate and connect.

Here is what we’re looking for:

  • 1+ years’ experience in the general creator and influencer landscape 
  • Culturally immersed, curious and deeply passionate about creators and the creator economy
  • Detail-oriented, strong time management, multi-tasking, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive thinker with a creative and curious mindset, bringing new ideas, suggestions and questions to the team forum.
  • Excellent communicator who acknowledges tasks and speaks up when help is needed.
  • An engaging voice who can speak persuasively, confidently and passionately about creators and the cultural landscape.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, flexibility and scrappiness are valued more than job titles, rigid structure and legacy ways of working.
  • Confidence in learning and working with CRM tools e.g Typeform, MailChimp and other CRM and data management systems.

We are an office-based company located in Farringdon, London, with a flexible approach to in-office days. Employees are asked to work from the office three days a week, choosing the days that suit them best.
