Job Overview:

As Community and Brand Manager, you’ll be the guardian and amplifier of the ThriveCart brand while owning the day-to-day health, engagement, and communication within our community.

This is a proactive role - not reactive moderation. You will ensure ThriveCart looks, sounds, and feels unmistakably ThriveCart everywhere it shows up - while consistently providing updates, sharing timelines and key dates, surfacing important product and company news, and ensuring members feel heard, supported, and excited to be part of ThriveCart.

You will be the voice of the brand inside the community and across key touchpoints - translating internal updates into clear, friendly, and trustworthy communication for our customers.

This role blends strategy and execution: part brand steward, part community leader.

You’ll work closely with marketing, product, support, content, design, and leadership to ensure alignment, clarity, and consistency across every channel.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement

  • Actively manage and engage with the ThriveCart community on a daily basis
  • Foster a welcoming, helpful, and professional environment aligned with ThriveCart’s brand values
  • Encourage meaningful discussion, participation, and peer-to-peer support
  • Consistently share product updates, roadmap highlights, timelines, and key dates with the community
  • Translate internal information into clear, customer-friendly posts
  • Ensure the community is always informed — no silence, no ambiguity
  • Serve as the voice of ThriveCart within the community
  • Communicate with clarity, empathy, and confidence, even during sensitive or high-traffic moments
  • Plan, host, and moderate webinars, tech-ins, and community sessions
  • Coordinate agendas, speakers, and follow-ups to ensure smooth execution
  • Engage attendees during live sessions and drive post-event discussion
  • Support affiliate communications within the community, sharing updates and acting as liaison when needed
  • Gather feedback, questions, and sentiment from the community
  • Surface recurring themes, concerns, and opportunities to internal teams
  • Advocate for the community while aligning with company goals

Brand Ownership & Governance

  • Serve as the day-to-day brand guardian for all community-facing content, ensuring every post, reply, announcement, and engagement touchpoint consistently reflects ThriveCart's voice, tone, and messaging standards.
  • Apply ThriveCart's brand guidelines when creating and publishing community content across all platforms, including forums, social channels, and member communications — no content goes out that isn't on-brand.
  • Review and provide brand feedback on community-generated campaigns, partner spotlights, and user-submitted content before publication.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of ThriveCart's brand guidelines and flag inconsistencies or drift when spotted across community channels, escalating where needed.
  • Support product launches and campaigns by crafting community announcements and engagement content that aligns with the broader campaign messaging and brand positioning.
  • Monitor community sentiment and member feedback to surface insights that inform how ThriveCart's brand voice is landing — and where it could be clearer, warmer, or more differentiated.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment

  • Work closely with product, support, marketing, and leadership teams
  • Coordinate announcements, launches, and updates to ensure alignment and accuracy
  • Balance creativity with commercial and customer goals
  • Ensure campaigns and community messaging are consistent and feel cohesive and strategically aligned

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and storytelling
  • Strong sense of brand voice, tone, and audience awareness
  • Proven experience maintaining and scaling a brand across multiple channels
  • Experience managing and growing online communities
  • High attention to detail with a strong eye for consistency and quality
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning communication without being prompted
  • Naturally engaged, visible, and responsive
  • Calm, thoughtful, and confident under pressure
  • Confident giving feedback while collaborating respectfully
  • Ability to balance creativity with commercial impact
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) to meaningfully improve day-to-day productivity, including drafting, research, analysis, and workflow automation
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI agents to automate repeatable tasks, with the ability to identify where AI can reduce manual effort and implement solutions independently.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Branding, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in brand, community, marketing, or communications roles (SaaS or digital products strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience managing brand standards across web, product, campaigns, social, email, and community platforms
  • Proven experience communicating updates, timelines, or announcements to a customer audience
  • Experience moderating or leading an online community (SaaS, ecommerce, or creator-focused products strongly preferred)
