Samsung TV Plus is a premium global entertainment service and is the most used streaming app on Samsung Smart TVs. A leader in FAST, Samsung TV Plus offers hundreds of channels and thousands of shows and movies on-demand in the U.S. Globally, the streaming
service carries over 3,500 ad-supported linear channels in 30 countries and is accessible on over 630M active devices. Samsung TV Plus is the exclusive home of Conan O’Brien TV, Letterman TV, and hundreds of additional exclusive channels available worldwide. Samsung TV Plus is available on Samsung TVs, Galaxy devices, Samsung Smart Monitors, and Family Hub.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Communications & PR Manager to support and grow the communications strategy for Samsung TV Plus across Europe. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution to strengthen brand perception, increase visibility, and position Samsung TV Plus as a key player within the rapidly evolving streaming and entertainment landscape. You will support narrative development, manage agency relationships, lead media and industry engagement activity, and work closely with teams across Europe and global HQ.

Communications & PR Execution

  • Support the development and delivery of the communications strategy for Samsung TV Plus across Europe, ensuring alignment with global priorities and business objectives.

  • Lead narrative development across B2B and B2C audiences, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strong positioning within the market.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key media, industry organisations, and event partners across priority markets.

  • Lead integrated communications campaigns that reinforce category leadership and drive measurable impact.

  • Manage communications and PR agencies across Europe, overseeing messaging, planning, pitching, and reporting.

  • Collaborate closely with global communications, Ads, Marketing, Editorial and Product teams to ensure message alignment and integrated execution.

  • Report on press coverage and trends and assess how to competitively position Samsung TV Plus in trade and consumer press

Media Relations & External Affairs

  • Strengthen Samsung TV Plus’ media presence by cultivating relationships with top-tier consumer, tech and trade publications across Europe.

  • Drive proactive media outreach around product announcements, partnerships, content launches and corporate milestones.

  • Develop high-quality press materials including briefings, Q&A, messaging guidelines, press releases and statements.

Executive Visibility & Thought Leadership

  • Support strategic profiling of senior leaders through speaking opportunities, interview placement and industry event participation.

  • Manage spokesperson preparation processes, including briefing documents and messaging support.

  • Coordinate award submissions, panel opportunities and industry recognition initiatives.

Industry Events & Campaign Activation

  • Lead communications planning and execution around key industry events (e.g. IFA, MIPCOM, Cannes Lions).

  • Support cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns linked to content launches, service updates and European milestones.

Cross-functional & Global Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Ads, Editorial, Product and Global Communications teams to align messaging and coordinate campaign delivery.

  • Participate in regional and global planning forums, sharing insight and supporting integrated campaign approaches.

  • Help translate business milestones into compelling communications moments for internal and external audiences.

What we need for this role

  • 5+ years’ experience in communications, PR or brand marketing in media, entertainment or agency-side roles.

  • Experience delivering multi-market campaigns and managing agencies.

  • Growth mindset, willing to build a PR function from scratch and autonomously manage multiple priorities and ambiguity.

  • Strong writing, messaging and storytelling capability.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with journalists and internal stakeholders.

  • Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrix environment.

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

  • Degree or equivalent practical experience.
