Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for Communications Marketing Intern to be based in London, UK. This is a paid internship. The internship runs from the 8th June 2026 to 18th September 2026. You must be available for the whole duration of the program. The role will close on Monday 16th March at 10am.

For our Communications Intern role we’re looking for a proactive individual with the energy and enthusiasm to seek out opportunities to creatively give wings to people and ideas. From being on the ground at large scale events through to working with leading creators, you will be given the autonomy and tools to make a genuine impact at Red Bull and make your first strides in a long career in Marketing & Communication.

Job Description

Earned Media Co-ordination

Identify, develop, and activate communications activities to raise awareness of and leverage Red Bull’s Events, Players, Athletes and Content in all of Red Bull UK’s Gaming, Esports and Sports activations.
Assist in briefing and coordinating Red Bull’s agencies to deliver and track impactful earned media results.
Proactively monitor social media, news articles and online trends for opportunities to engage and give wiiings.

Event Comms Support

Assist in the development and activation of Earned, Managed and Owned activities at small and large-scale events.
Working collaboratively with the Comms team members and your Programming and Content colleagues to deliver impactful event results across Earned, Managed and Owned.
Providing on the ground support across events, helping host creators and media, coordinating photographers and managing press and asset distribution on-site.

Player & Athlete Comms

Work with Comms team members to help tell engaging and aspirational stories about our Gaming Players and Sporting Athletes.
Help identify and leverage moments in the Gaming and Sporting calendar for our roster of talent.
Co-ordinate with our PR Agencies to identify media targets and draft exciting features and media pitches for our talent that can grow their profile and drive home our purpose

Qualifications

Lover of Gaming, Sports and Creators.
Keen consumer of news media with a nose for what makes a good story.
Excellent copywriting skills with creative flair and a sense of humour.
Social media obsessive (TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, but also comfortable within Twitter and Reddit).
Proactive mindset comfortable with responsibility – put yourself forward, get involved, grab the opportunities.
