The Communications Manager plays an important role in our Global Internal Engagement team, planning and delivering engaging communications and campaigns that bring our Ahead Together strategy and culture to life, connecting GSK people to our purpose, patients and global community.
The successful candidate will be great with people, articulate, loves to write and enjoys managing stakeholders and plans. They’ll have an appetite for learning and be keen to develop new skills and immerse themselves in different aspects of our business.

In this role you will
As part of a team, plan and deliver engaging, impactful internal communications and engagement. This includes:
Setting clear objectives and defining target audiences
Drafting key messages and creating content for global channels and other activations
Making sure our content is creative, accessible and inclusive
Managing broadcasts and events
Measuring the impact of our communications so we can learn and improve
Contributing your ideas to increase our impact
Partner with colleagues in our digital and campaigns teams to develop and activate our plans in global internal channels
Support senior communications business partners to deliver great communications within their businesses
Engage with stakeholders in the business, including communications colleagues, to ensure our plans reflect their needs
Work flexibly across different priorities as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for these required skills, experience and personal aptitude to achieve our goals:
Qualified to Degree level or equivalent experience in a large organization
Planning and project management experience, with excellent attention to detail
Capable, credible communicator – in person and in writing
Learning agility: critical thinker with an appetite to learn about our business and the discipline of internal communications and engagement
Digital fluency: experience creating and maintaining a variety of content for social media
Adaptable team player who can also work independently and with initiative.
