Company Description

At Valeo Foods Group, we’re not just building brands – we’re creating connections. With a portfolio of over 85 iconic food and beverage brands, including Kettle Crisps, Rowse Honey, and Matthew Walker puddings, our products are enjoyed in over 100 international markets. Backed by Bain Capital, we’re on an exciting journey of transformation and growth, expanding our footprint and enhancing our capabilities for the future.

To support this ambition, we’re growing our Group Communications team and looking for a Communications Manager – Content and Channels to help us strengthen our voice, enhance our reputation, and drive employee engagement across our regions.

Job Description

This is a pivotal new role in our growing Group Communications team—a chance to shape, build, and innovate from the ground up. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, regional teams, and colleagues across the business to create and deliver engaging, multi-channel communications that bring Valeo Foods’ mission and values to life.

From content creation to channel optimisation, you’ll be the driving force behind impactful storytelling. Whether it’s crafting compelling campaigns, shaping internal messaging, or boosting our external presence, you’ll help connect and inspire employees while strengthening our brand.

You’ll own and manage an editorial calendar, delivering clear, creative content across internal platforms, LinkedIn, and beyond. Partnering with the People Leadership team, you’ll develop initiatives that enhance employee engagement, support wellbeing, and promote our Employee Value Proposition (EVP). You’ll also play a key role in driving participation in events and bringing our culture to life.

With an eye on data and insights, you’ll continuously refine our communications, ensuring they land with impact. You’ll also help elevate our external presence, creating content that showcases Valeo Foods as a great place to work and a trusted industry leader.

If you’re a creative, hands-on communicator who loves telling powerful stories and wants to be part of a growing team, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You’ll be creative, adaptable, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.

  • Proven experience in corporate communications (mid-to-senior level), ideally in a multi-region, matrixed organisation.

  • Expertise in content creation, internal comms, and channel management, with a strong understanding of audience engagement.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling content for diverse audiences.

  • Strong project management abilities, comfortable juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Collaborative and proactive, able to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience with change communications (M&A, business transformation).

  • Familiarity with creative software (Canva, InDesign) and commissioning creative campaigns.

  • Background in PR, media relations, or external communications.

Additional Information

At Valeo, you’ll be part of a business that’s growing fast and thinking big. This is a rare opportunity to shape a newly formed communications function with the freedom to innovate and make a tangible impact.

You’ll work in a collaborative, international environment where creativity and initiative are valued. If you’re excited by the prospect of building a world-class communications capability from the ground up, we want to hear from you.
