Purpose of role

To help build Grosvenor’s reputation for lasting commercial, social and environmental benefit, delivering clear, impactful communications that influence both targeted audiences and the wider public.

This varied role sits within Grosvenor’s Communications and Corporate Affairs team, supporting the delivery of a multi-channel external and internal communications strategy.

Your work will primarily focus on supporting our UK property business as well as our diversified property investments business which invests in property around to world to further diversify Grosvenor’s property portfolio.

With Grosvenor’s activities encompassing food and agtech, rural estate management and support for philanthropic initiatives, there will also be opportunity to support projects in these areas.

The role also supports the creation of filmed and edited content for use on our social and digital channels.

Key responsibilities
  • Content creation: develop operational communications supporting our business activities. Also help identify and develop content that can build our reputation with key audiences in our chosen areas through a multi-channel approach.
  • Media liaison: developing and maintaining strong proactive relationships with trade media across real estate and other sectors; drafting press releases, identifying opportunities and pitching story ideas
  • Campaign support: contributing to the creation and delivery of high-profile multi-channel corporate campaigns
  • Internal communications: working in partnership with the internal communications team, delivering a regular stream of internal communications for key business areas
  • Innovation: scan for and research new opportunities and best practice to enable the team to continually improve
  • Work with local office teams to manage project marketing initiatives as appropriate, promoting high standards and ensuring message consistency.
  • Team support – ensuring the team planner, external memberships, service providers (e.g., our media monitoring and analytics) and processes run smoothly
  • Strategy planning and reporting: Support the creation of annual communications plans for the group and key operating companies as well as the production of reports that demonstrate the success and impact of our communications.

You will:

  • Have experience within a communications role and be seeking a new opportunity to build your skills and expertise.
  • Experience of filming and editing content for use in social media channels, also being proficient with the management of social media accounts
  • Have an interest in the real estate sector and / or knowledge of sustainability and environmental terminology.
  • Be an excellent writer and a natural and confident communicator, able to create content that is ‘right first time’ and adapt your style across different channels and for different audiences
  • Want to work for a values-led business where making a positive impact on society, cities and the environment matters.
  • Have a positive attitude and a can-do approach, demonstrating interest and curiosity in our  activities and wanting to continually develop your skills and be part of a dynamic team
  • Be able to build effective and positive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Have a working knowledge of social and digital media and understanding of key trends
  • Be confident across Microsoft 365, intranet and website editing. A working knowledge of MailChimp would be an advantage.
