Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The ideal candidate will be extremely efficient and organized, possess exceptional communication skills and bring creativity and enthusiasm to the role. The ability to multi-task, work calmly under pressure and be a strong team player are also vital, as is a good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media platforms.
Areas of responsibility
Accurate calendars (editorial, press conferences, events etc.) and media lists
Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions
Distribute content such as briefing notes and press releases as required
Lead on tracking media coverage and PR metrics
Lead on the administration of media accreditation and invitations
Oversee organization of regular meetings / agendas / action points
Key Tasks
Maintain archive of all press clippings / bespoke clip books
Maintain archive of all press releases / info sheets
Maintain archive of images
Maintain up-to-date press lists
First point of contact for [email protected] email flagging any important requests
Respond to image requests
Develop supporting comms materials for press packs etc
Oversee administration of materials for press packs (e-press pack)
Research for campaigns where appropriate
Check the daily clips reports – flagging any major / important / relevant coverage
Oversee agendas / meeting notes
Manage RSVPs for invitations
Manage department subscriptions
Proofing of all comms materials
Cultivate a network of stakeholders in the wider industry
Keep up to date on wider arts media coverage and developments
Please Note e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc
Potential to work weekends at busy times
Some flexibility required to account for different time zones
