Your future role within QRT
- Architect, develop, deploy and manage cloud-native in collaboration with the AWS team, e.g. systems for storing and exploring alternative datasets, risk reports, PnL.
- Develop quant tools for trading and research in collaboration with quant researchers and data engineering teams, e.g. ETL pipelines to integrate and test alternative datasets for the Commodities desk.
- ML/statistical modelling in the context of Agriculture, Metals and Power trading.
- Monitor, support, debug and extend existing Commodities trading and research infrastructure together with Researchers and Support Engineers.
Your present skillset
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Python or an OOP language
- Proficient in Python, in particular numerical libraries - numpy, pandas, matplotlib
- Solid knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platform, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Solid knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL).
- Experience with developing ETL pipelines (preferably using Airflow)
- Development practices - version control with Git, unit testing, packaging etc.
- A quantitative mindset and financial knowledge – Commodities related experience is a plus
- Autonomous, but also team player with collaborative attitude. Mentoring experience is a plus
