The Commercial Strategy and Transformation Manager is a key role responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, market share gains, and business transformation. This role involves in-depth market analysis, competitive assessment, customer insights, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, implement effective commercial plans, and lead transformational initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, a proven track record of success in driving commercial results, and experience leading change.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with overall business objectives, including pricing strategies, product positioning, channel development, go-to-market plans, and transformational roadmaps.

  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and data to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points, using these insights to develop targeted strategies.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, finance, operations, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial strategies and transformation initiatives.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on commercial performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.

  • Project Management: Lead and manage strategic projects related to commercial initiatives and business transformation, ensuring timely completion and within budget.

  • Channel Management: Evaluate and optimize existing sales channels and explore new channels to expand market reach and improve customer access.

  • Innovation & New Product Launch Support: Contribute to the development and launch of new products and services, providing market insights and developing go-to-market strategies.

  • Transformation Leadership: Lead and manage business transformation initiatives, including process improvements, technology implementations, and organizational changes, to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new strategies and processes.

  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, and partners, to ensure alignment and support for transformation initiatives.

  • Tactical support of the Commercial VP for UKI

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; 

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial strategy, sales, marketing, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in leading business transformation.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies and leading transformational change.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in  data analysis.  

  • Experience with market research and competitive analysis.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Experience in Industry lead strategy is a plus.

  • Change management certification or experience preferred.
