We are looking for a Commercial Planning Manager to join the team. Reporting into the Head of Commercial, this experienced individual will provide varied support with data analysis, reporting and thoughtful insight to support the commercial team.

  • Support the Head of Commercial Planning in building the strategy in the context of multi-year planning preparation, as well as in liaising with different stakeholders across the team to discuss both short and long-term strategies

  • Provide insights on customer, competitor, and market trends to support strategy development.

  • Manage the delivery of Annual Budget, Quarterly & Monthly Forecasts, including strategic sales and gross margin planning.

  • Revise forecasts throughout the year to identify risks/opportunities and enable the business to take action.

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (CRM, data analytics, performance marketing, site) to build customer, channel, and regional targets.

  • Provide weekly and mid-week performance updates to senior team, delivering high-quality insights to support decision-making and P&L impact.

  • Analyze trends in revenue, promotional activity, customer/regional performance, return rates, and margin to scenario plan & inform business decisions & priorities

  • Use advanced modelling to effectively deliver end of season MD scenarios to delivery KPI’s including profitability and inventory sell thru

  • Leverage commercial acumen to identify opportunities, drive performance improvements, and enhance productivity through analytics. Implement evidence-based decision-making to optimize business outcomes

  • Assess and manage risks, assumptions, and dependencies while ensuring accurate updates to plans and impact is clearly understood

  • Maintain oversight of financial performance, acting as a guardian of the P&L, ensuring profitability through strategic budgeting and forecasting. Continuously analyze revenue, margins, and key financial metrics to drive informed decision-making.

  • Prepare high-quality reports and presentation decks for executive updates and business reviews from weekly reports to annual budget coordination

  • Support Operations with outbound volume projections for capacity planning and weekly reforecasting.

  • Support the development of strategic business cases with cross-functional teams, outlining business opportunities and rationale.

  • Key point of contact for finance business partners

  • Understand the current vs future state of the business and identify key requirements/capabilities (technical and operational) needed to support the strategy.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing for efficient execution.

  • Be flexible to the ever-changing demands of the business
