Own and build commercial operations processes for contract renewals, RFPs, and governance. Lead major client renewal and RFP programs, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, resolve client requests, track initiatives and integrations, manage strategic projects, maintain account knowledge, and prepare commercial reviews for leadership. The role requires strong program management, stakeholder engagement, data-driven decision-making, and process-building skills, with opportunities to apply generative AI and automation.

Every day, somewhere in the world, important decisions are made. Whether it is a private equity company deciding to invest millions into a business or a large corporation implementing a new strategic direction, these decisions impact employees, customers, and other stakeholders.

Consulting and private equity firms come to proSapient when they need to discover knowledge to help them make great decisions and succeed in their goals. It is our mission to support them in their discovery of knowledge.

We help our clients find industry experts who can provide their knowledge via interview or survey: we curate this knowledge in a market-leading software platform; and we help clients surface knowledge they already have through expansive knowledge management.

We're looking for a Commercial Program Lead to build the operating backbone behind our most important client relationships - renewals, RfPs, and the processes that keep them running smoothly.

This is a brand-new role with genuine ownership from day one. You won't inherit an existing system - you'll build one, working closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance and Product to keep our biggest accounts running like clockwork as we scale.

It's a great fit for someone who's naturally process-driven, comfortable turning ambiguity into structure, and energised by building something from scratch rather than optimising something that already exists.

Key duties in this role will include:

  • Own and continuously improve the processes behind contract renewals, RfPs, and commercial governance, bringing commercial knowledge together into one trusted source of truth for the business.
  • Project manage major renewal and RfP programmes for our largest clients, building the plan, coordinating internal contributors, and assembling the evidence needed to support senior leadership.
  • Triage and resolve client requests, including reporting, compliance, legal, and data queries, coordinating the right internal owners and ensuring client-facing teams can close the loop with clients.
  • Run a single view of client-facing initiatives and integrations, tracking progress and escalating blockers to keep delivery on track.
  • Manage special strategic projects that strengthen how we partner with clients, working across commercial, service delivery, and central functions.
  • Maintain the account knowledge base and prepare commercial reviews for leadership, so context, performance, and risk are never lost to turnover.

Requirements

Essential:

  • 4+ years' experience in commercial operations, sales operations, revenue operations, or a client-facing operations or programme role.
  • A track record of building processes from scratch, with a proactive, hands-on approach and an interest in applying Gen AI and automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and understand priorities across teams and seniority levels.
  • Strong programme management skills, with experience owning multi-workstream, cross-functional projects end-to-end and reporting status with honesty and clarity.
  • A data-driven mindset, comfortable working with spreadsheets and using evidence to identify the best way forward.

Desirable:

  • Experience with large professional services or consulting clients, and their procurement and compliance processes.
  • Background in expert networks, market research, data or information services.
  • Has worked with BI tools (we use Tableau) and Notion.

Benefits
  • Tenure Gifts - Vouchers, extra holiday and sabbaticals for each year of employment.
  • Health insurance through Vitality
  • Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely for up to 20 days each year, allowing you to tailor your work environment to your needs and embrace a change of scenery.
  • Employee Assistance Programme - Access to a health and wellbeing service that offers personalised advice and support from specialist teams.
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity pay.
  • Annual Leave - 25 days + bank holidays which includes a week's closure over the Christmas period to fully reset.
  • MyMindPal app - Online support for mental fitness that helps people to stress less and enjoy life more
  • Corporate Events - From quarterly gatherings to our annual winter & Summer parties, we love to celebrate, collaborate and have fun together!

We are committed to building an inclusive workplace – did you know that marginalized groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every requirement listed? If you are interested in the above role, but don’t necessarily tick every box, we encourage you to apply anyway – this role could still be a great match!
