We are recruiting for a Commercial Operations Manager for our Sponsorship & Commercial Partnerships team who would be based at our St James Market Office in London. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing growth initiatives that align with Formula 1’s commercial objectives. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop commercial strategies and execution plans to drive growth across commercial partnerships, licensing, experiential, hospitality, and marketing.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and maximize commercial potential.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create integrated commercial propositions that enhance fan engagement and partner value.
  • Develop compelling, creative, and bespoke commercial propositions for partners with consideration on cross-departmental impacts.
  • Conduct financial modelling, revenue forecasting, and performance analysis to support commercial planning and optimize monetization strategies.
  • Develop and present business cases, strategic recommendations, and performance reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage operational efficiency projects to enhance cross-departmental collaboration and data sharing.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of commercial initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and adapting strategies to changing market conditions and consumer behaviour.
  • Manage reporting processes for senior stakeholder updates.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure Formula 1 remains at the forefront of innovation and commercial success.

Specification Essentials:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial strategy, business development or related roles, within sports, entertainment, media or tech industries
  • Degree in Business or Economics
  • Experience developing and executing successful commercial strategies
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience building complex financial models
