We are searching for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our incredible team to support the launch and expansion of a new product offering - Clearer.
As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue performance by managing and monetising our strategic partnerships while spearheading the creation of a new product. This is a highly cross-functional, fast-paced role where you're expected to problem-solve, bring innovative ideas to the table, and collaborate with teams across disciplines to capitalise on commercial opportunities. - Lead the contractual negotiation process to ensure we secure the right terms with lender partners for this new product.
- Create and drive commercial strategy for the new product, ensuring appropriate positioning in the market context.
- Source repayment instructions for credit cards and loans from lenders in the UK to continuously improve the coverage of products we can offer to consolidate for our Users.
- Work closely with the product, design and engineering teams on continuous optimisation of the product and the conversion funnel, folding in feedback from lender partners to ensure the product remains market leading.
- Dive deep into our platform’s rich data to derive key business and new initiative insights related to the product, converting them into actions that help our users and partners.
You're a fit for the role if you present most of the following:
- At least 3 years experience with a strong track record in professional settings and/or academia.
- Previous experience in a commercial role within financial services or product development is desirable but not mandatory.
- Passion and enthusiasm for the problems we are solving, with the ability to use creativity and initiative to achieve these goals.
- Comfort with ambiguity and readiness to take on significant responsibility quickly.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making is highly beneficial.
- Experience using SQL or similar tools to self-serve analytics would be highly beneficial but not mandatory.
- A track record of success pitching new products to external parties would be beneficial.
Previous work experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

- A relationship-focused, client-facing environment such as partner/account management
- Launching a new product to market in financial services
- Relevant work in a consumer finance, fintech, payments or B2B tech company
