Who are we?

At Blue Gem, we create some of London's most prestigious flexible workspaces, combining exceptional design, outstanding service and prime locations across the capital. With award-winning buildings in Bank, Farringdon, Fenchurch Street, London Bridge, Marble Arch and Mayfair, we have built a reputation for delivering workspace experiences that businesses genuinely want to be part of.

Our award-winning success has been driven by strong relationships, high occupancy levels and a product we're proud of. As we continue to grow, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering an exceptional experience and building lasting business partnerships.

Purpose of the Role:

This Commercial Manager role is key in driving the continued growth of our London portfolio by building and nurturing relationships with the brokers who know our business best. Acting as an ambassador for the Blue Gem brand, you will grow our presence in the market, strengthen our broker network and create opportunities across both our existing locations and future developments.

This is a relationship-led, target-focused role for a commercially minded professional who enjoys connecting with people, building trust and developing long-term partnerships. Previous serviced office experience is not what we are looking for, it is someone with a strong sales background, a proactive approach and the ambition to learn and grow with the business.

As our Commercial Manager, you will be:

  • Building and maintaining a strong network of service office brokers across London
  • Keeping broker relationships warm through regular contact, meetings, networking, lunches and other relationship-building activities
  • Develop trusted relationships so that our serviced offices are front of mind when brokers are advising clients on workspace requirements
  • Meet with prospective clients, understand their requirements and recommend the most appropriate workspace solution
  • Manage opportunities through the sales process, from initial introduction through to completion
  • Attend internal and external events to build relationships, represent the business and increase its profile within the market
  • Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen the broker network and develop new sources of business
  • Ensure you remain up to date on available space within our current London portfolio, as well as supporting the launch and growth of future locations
  • Work towards agreed commercial targets while maintaining a high standard of client and broker engagement

Requirements

What our ideal candidate will have:

  • You will have proven experience in a sales or commercially focused role, with a track record of working towards and achieving targets
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop trusted, long-term business relationships
  • A personable and confident communication style, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Proactive and organised, with the initiative to stay in regular contact with clients and contacts rather than waiting for opportunities to come to you
  • Commercially minded and motivated by results, while taking a consultative approach to sales
  • Confident person when networking and representing a business at internal and external events
  • Experience within serviced offices or commercial property is not required, in fact we are actively open to candidates from other sales backgrounds who can bring strong relationship-building skills, energy and commercial focus

Benefits

What we offer

  • £50–60k base salary (OTE £100K)
  • Bonus is uncapped and paid quarterly
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Pension
  • The opportunity to join a fast-growing sales team with scope for progression
  • A strong, established luxury product with warm broker-led opportunities
  • Training and support to help you build your knowledge of the sector and the business
