Your Purpose:
- Lead and finalise negotiations on a highly complex, £bn+ EPC contracts.
- Oversee contract execution, administration, and change control.
- Manage commercial risk, claims prevention, and dispute resolution.
- Lead a team of commercial managers, ensuring best practice contract governance.
- Develop and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor contract performance, costs, and compliance with obligations.
- Drive a risk management strategy, ensuring issues are identified and mitigated.
What you can bring:
- Extensive experience in procurement and commercial management of large-scale EPC contracts (£bn+), ideally in marine or renewable energy, or related experience.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contract execution.
- Experience managing high-interface, complex projects, including supplier and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to lead contract negotiations on major projects.
- Experience in subsea cable procurement and management is desirable.
- Strong background in risk management, change control, and dispute avoidance.
- Leadership experience in managing teams of commercial managers.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline; professional accreditation (RICS, CIPS) preferred.
