Tickmill is looking to hire a Commercial Director – Exchange Traded Products to join our rapidly expanding team. 

The Commercial Director – Exchange Traded Products will lead the commercial growth and strategic development of Tickmill’s exchange traded offering, including cash equities, futures and options.

This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on driving strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and shaping the long-term commercial strategy of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with professional market participants, trading firms, asset managers, introducing partners, and other strategic counterparties. 

The role also requires close collaboration with senior management and internal stakeholders to define the commercial characteristics, product positioning, pricing strategy, and overall go-to-market approach for Tickmill’s exchange traded product suite. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong market knowledge, deep commercial experience within exchange traded products, and an established network within the European and London financial ecosystem.

What the job looks like?

The Commercial Director – Exchange Traded Products will have the opportunity to: 

Commercial Strategy & Business Growth
Lead the commercial strategy for exchange traded products (equities, futures, options), driving revenue, market share, and client acquisition. Identify new opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels while contributing to overall business strategy.

Partnerships & Market Development
Build and manage senior relationships with trading firms, asset managers, and key counterparties. Represent the business at industry events and maintain awareness of market trends and competitor activity.

Product & Commercial Advisory
Work cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Operations, and Compliance to enhance offerings. Advise on pricing, commissions, positioning, and new product launches. Help define the value proposition and client offering.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Act as a senior commercial stakeholder, support business development teams, and align cross-functional execution. Provide reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

What will you need to be able to do the job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
    5+ years’ experience in brokerage, capital markets, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of exchange traded products (equities, futures, options)
  • Proven track record of driving commercial growth and partnerships
  • Established network within European/London financial markets
  • Strong understanding of market structure and brokerage models
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Experience in regulated environments is a plus
