Role Overview 

As Commercial & CVM Execution Poker, you will support the execution of customer value management and commercial plans in the Portuguese market. You will have the opportunity to learn about commercial campaign delivery, customer segmentation, offset budgeting and competitive positioning whilst contributing to our ambition of remaining Portugal’s favourite poker destination. Your enthusiasm for gaming, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn will be crucial in supporting PokerStars' commercial growth in Portugal. 

Why We Need You: We someone with genuine passion for the poker industry and strong desire to learn who can support the execution of Portugal's commercial and customer value initiatives. You will focus primarily on campaign execution and analysis whilst learning from experienced team members and developing your expertise in this competitive market. 

You will support campaign execution, segmentation analysis, and performance reporting whilst learning about commercial strategy and competitive dynamics. You will work closely with local marketing teams and PokerStars Network functions, bringing energy and enthusiasm whilst developing your expertise in commercial and CVM operations. 

Your willingness to learn, work hard, and grow will be essential as you build your career in commercial gaming whilst supporting our ambitious long-term vision in the Portuguese market and Southern European liquidity. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Support execution of local promotional campaigns across Portuguese poker market, ensuring accurate delivery of campaign elements under guidance from the Country Lead. 

  • Assist with segmentation analysis by conducting basic customer behaviour analysis and supporting targeting activities for Portuguese players. 

  • Help coordinate with local marketing and other CVM teams to support seamless campaign delivery whilst developing cross-functional working relationships. 

  • Monitor campaign performance and customer value metrics, learning to extract insights from data whilst supporting competitive analysis and reporting activities. 

  • Support budget tracking activities, helping to monitor promotional spend and learning about efficient resource allocation at license and liquidity level for poker. 

  • Assist with CVM local activities including lifecycle campaign execution, regulatory communications and retention initiatives under supervision. 

  • Proactively input to our Portuguese customer communication plans and pieces of content, adding both the local nuance and poker flavour that ensures maximum engagement from our players. 

  • Maintain organised documentation and tracking systems to support transparency and learning across commercial and CVM activities. 

  • Stay curious about Portuguese poker market developments, competitive positioning, and emerging technologies, bringing fresh perspective and enthusiasm. 

  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and PokerStars Network peers, demonstrating positive attitude and collaborative approach whilst learning from experienced professionals. 

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by helping to identify process enhancements and learning about innovative approaches to campaign delivery. 

What you’ll bring: 

  • Genuine passion and interest in the poker industry mandatory, with curiosity about poker business management, player behaviour, and competitive strategies. 

  • Portuguese language fluency essential, with native or near-native proficiency for working in the local market context. 

  • Positive attitude with excellent work ethic, eager to work hard, take on challenges, and support team objectives whilst learning from experienced colleagues. 

  • Strong willingness to learn about commercial marketing, customer value management, and the competitive Portuguese gaming market. 

  • Basic analytical aptitude with eagerness to develop data analysis skills and learn to extract insights from campaign and customer performance. 

  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to support campaign execution accurately whilst learning to identify opportunities for improvement. 

  • Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively across teams and present information clearly whilst building professional relationships. 

  • Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for supporting collective objectives whilst bringing positive energy and fresh perspective to the workplace. 

  • Interest in emerging technologies and how innovations might enhance commercial strategies and customer experiences. 

  • Adaptability with positive approach to learning new skills and taking on evolving responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Basic proficiency or strong willingness to learn tools like Excel for campaign tracking and performance measurement. 

  • Growth mindset with ambition to build a career in commercial gaming and contribute to achieving long-term vision for PokerStars in Portugal.
