The opportunity.

Quantexa is looking for a highly motivated professional to support our global commercial and contract management team. As a contracts manager within the EMEA region, you will be responsible for working alongside our GTM, Delivery and Technology Account Partner teams to lead the negotiation of Quantexa software licences, professional services and partnership agreements. This will involve working closely alongside the global Quantexa legal and commercial teams in negotiating contractual terms and deal structures and providing post contract management on complex agreements and projects. 

What you’ll be doing.

Reporting into the head of commercial and working with Sales, Delivery, PMO, Customer Success, Global Alliances, Finance, Legal and the wider commercial team the typical responsibilities include: 

  • Triaging all new engagements to determine commercial and legal support or model terms required 
  • Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreement terms and pricing 
  • Highlighting onerous terms for legal review and commercial escalation under internal policy 
  • Advising on deal structuring for GTM and Delivery teams around contract models, templates and pricing 
  • In-contract life cycle management for complex projects including change management and identified risk mitigation 
  • Supporting RFP management and helping with response co-ordination
  • Helping to drive effective governance across contracting and proposals enabling Quantexa to meet our sustainable growth targets, while achieving compliance excellence.

Our clients are International, and our staff are expected to react to demanding client needs and agendas, this role will support the Quantexa sales and delivery teams within EMEA but with scope to expand the role to global support.  


Requirements

What you’ll bring.

  • Significant experience of drafting and negotiating complex licence and professional services  contracts with Tier 1 Financial Services, Insurance, Consultancies and Public Sector organisations 
  • Experience leading negotiation of commercial models and key commercial terms with Tier 1 Financial Services, Insurance, Consultancies and Public Sector organisations 
  • Determination to succeed in challenging circumstances 
  • Accountability for owning the tasks you undertake  
  • Ability to be an independent decision maker but, equally, inclusive when evaluating options 
  • Driven, ambitious and energetic with strong inter-personal skills 
  • Strong commercial qualities 
  • Good team player, capable of delivering results in less than perfect circumstances 
  • Ability to perform effectively in complex and difficult environments 
  • Optimistic in outlook and able to identify opportunities for improvement in ways of working
