Job Overview

The Consultant will work primarily on teams led by Engagement Managers and Principals to meet goals and objectives as outlined in client contracts/agreements. Under supervision, the Consultant will develop and present project plans and proposals, The Consultant will have a largely client facing role and may be the day to day client contact on projects. They are expected to oversee deliverables, timelines, and ongoing project execution. They will responsible for quality review of all staff deliverables. Special projects and internal projects will also be assigned on an as needed basis by Engagement Managers and Principals. Projects cover a variety of subject matter topics including:
• Compliance Consulting (Programmatic design and implementation, business needs and risk assessments, benchmarking, and industry best practices
• Commercial Operations and Business Process Enhancement (HCP/O engagement process design, operations, process transformation and support of technology rollouts)
• Fair Market Value (FMV and HCP Tiering Methodology, Rate Analysis, FMV process implementation)
• Transparency and Aggregate Spend (international laws and regulations such as US Sunshine Act, France Transparency and Engagement Notifications Requirements, EFPIA etc.)
• Auditing and Monitoring (live monitoring, transactional and data analysis, compliance auditing)
• Special projects and internal projects will also be assigned on an as needed basis

Responsibilities

• Support and lead consulting projects
• Lead clients in business workshops and interviews
• Develops project deliverables which could include data analyses and reports, process reviews and assessments, policies, and SOPs etc.
• Develop, articulate, and present ideas and opinions
• Manage and take accountability for projects
• Provide mentorship for junior staff members
• Develop relationships with clients and identify future opportunities
• Create project deliverables with some oversight by senior staff
• Support in growing the organization
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience

• Client Relationship Delivery – Day-to-day owner of client delivery within leading Life Sciences organizations, focused on client satisfaction and outstanding client deliverables.
• Analytical Problem-Solving - Applies an analytical approach to solving problems and reaching logical conclusions. Gathers information from a variety of sources and quickly gains an understanding of it. Works effectively with complicated, conflicting, or ambiguous information, and looks beyond the surface of issues to identify their underlying patterns and causes.
• Effective Communication - Expresses ideas in a clear and concise manner; tailors’ message to target audience and can communicate effectively both verbally as well as in writing

Qualifications & Other Requirements

• Minimum 2 - 3 years strategic management consulting or legal experience, preferably with a Big 4, strategy consulting, specialized healthcare consulting or law firm
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; MBA, a Law Degree (JD or other equivalent) or another master’s degree preferred
• Successful track record delivering projects (on time and on budget)
• Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Entrepreneur, independent worker, organized, self-motivated
• Analytical and quantitative: comfortable with numbers, strong business acumen, and excellent leadership skills
• Willingness to have a different opinion, ability to articulate thoughts and concepts well
• Ability and willingness to strive to improve skills related to the IQVIA core competencies
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Experience or knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and in particular compliance and risk management issues a strong plus
