The Role
Datalex is seeking a high-performing Commercial & Partnerships Analyst to join our growing team in a newly created role. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this position will play a key role in driving revenue opportunities, enhancing monetisation strategies, and establishing and driving a structured partnerships framework across the business.
This is a broad and high-impact role suited to someone who combines strong analytical capability with commercial instinct. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Finance, and Strategy to identify new revenue opportunities, evaluate commercial initiatives, and bring structure to how Datalex identifies, assesses, and manages strategic partnerships.
Alongside revenue and partnership initiatives, you will support high-priority ad-hoc projects focused on business performance, data insights, and process optimisation.
This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to directly influence growth strategy in a dynamic technology environment.
Key Responsibilities - Commercial:

  • Conduct industry research to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Assist in business planning activities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Focus on developing and nurturing strategic partnerships to drive business growth
  • Evaluate potential opportunities and assess their viability.
  • Refine pricing models to maximize profitability.
  • Drive overall process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate financial and operational data effectively.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Interest in and understanding of the technology or travel industries preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English.
