Job Description

Commercial Administrator
Shaftesbury
Permanent, full-time 
Competitive salary plus benefits

To operate as a member of our Commercial team supporting and servicing customers, processing sales and ensuring that they are accurately understood and efficiently processed.

More about the role:

  • Being the first point of contact for the company and effectively manage relationships with customers, internal and external staff, courier companies and suppliers.
  • Supporting BDMs in quoting, chasing and organising jobs.
  • Processing and inputting customer orders, proforma invoices and estimates.
  • Updating department databases and spreadsheets.
  • Handling day-to-day customer enquiries via emails and phone calls. Distributing as needed.
  • Liaising with external and internal departments to effectively manage customer expectations.
  • Assisting in the management of vehicles and stock including raising purchase orders.
  • Completing additional ad hoc duties as and when required by the company directors.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in an office / administration environment essential.
  • Computer literate with experience in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel to an intermediate level.
  • Experience in working with databases advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience in sales administration advantageous but not essential.
