The Opportunity

We are seeking a Commercial Account Executive with a strong background in SaaS technology sales to help drive growth for our company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales with excellent communication. You will be responsible for commercial sales efforts, developing and executing sales strategies and driving revenue growth. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and increase market share
  • Validate and monetize product market fit for MariaDB’s products through securing commercial account contracts
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive the feedback discovery process to contribute to product development
  • Develop and present compelling value propositions to illustrate how MariaDB can provide value for potential customers
  • Drive database sales to mid and large firms across multiple commercial verticals
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets
  • Leverage in-depth understanding of data and common usage patterns to educate clients on how they can capitalize on our solution to drive value
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of sales materials
  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through Salesforce.com or other tools

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience B2B selling SaaS technology solutions and/or business development experience with senior leadership 
  • Proven track record in successfully prospecting for new business, converting leads and generating new business with existing customers by using upselling tactics that ensure a great customer experience
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Expertise in consultative selling and problem solving
  • Bilingual (English + Finnish, Swedish or Norwegian)

Location

London - Hybrid (2 x per week onsite, Tues & Thurs!)
