We are currently seeking an experienced Collective Training Programme Manager. The Collective Training programme is based around the delivery of Gladiator to the Ministry of Defence (MOD). This position is can be based out of the Bristol or Milton Keynes office on a hybrid basis.
The Gladiator Programme is a key component of the RAF's vision for a blend of live and virtual training capabilities to improve military and Defence outputs and establish operational advantage. The solution is currently being used by the RAF and is to be leveraged by other Defence users in the future. The Senior Manager will not only be supporting Defence's aspirations but also the development of the capability for potential export opportunities. This Programme is at the cutting edge of simulation technology and its future evolutions and exploitation.

Key responsibilities include:
- The CT Programme manager will be responsible for capturing new markets across MOD Domains, Effects Based Simulators and over and above work for the Gladiator Programme.
- Responsible for the Gladiator Recompete Bid and Proposal and associated investment research and development projects.
- This role will lead, inspire and manage a Team of Project Managers and Delivery personnel, working with the MoD and end Customer to ensure the delivery of all changes for the Gladiator Programme.
- The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities and outputs of the team and shall ensure that staff are performing to the highest levels and accurately recording activity and delivering outputs that are aligned to the agreed requirements of any project or change.
- The manager will ensure that team members have the necessary skills; or shall liaise with the wider organization to obtain them to ensure that changes can be delivered consistently and on time according to the CT Contract SLAs.
- The Manager is responsible for all of the performance management of the team and will do so in accordance with Boeing policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Extensive experience within Programme Management.
- Ability to lead effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong leadership skills, sound customer knowledge and is able to execute on commitments.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Previous experience working with defence or aerospace sector.
- Previous or current experience of working with the MOD Defence Synthetic Training areas is highly desired but relevant experience with other Defence and Government Departments would be considered.
