About the team and the role:

This role sits within the Collectibles category team and supports the strategy and growth of one of eBay’s most dynamic marketplaces. The team partners with sellers, brands, retailers, and private sellers to ensure the right inventory is available to drive category performance and buyer satisfaction.

As a key contributor to category success, you will be accountable for the operational and commercial performance of a defined seller portfolio and the broader Collectibles category. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Global Business Unit partners, helping shape strategy, enhance the customer experience, and grow the category.

What you will accomplish:

  • Shape and execute the Collectibles category strategy by applying market insights and category expertise to drive sustainable growth

  • Build and optimise the assortment plan, balancing pricing, promotions, and selection to improve discoverability, increase GMV, and enhance buyer satisfaction in a competitive market

  • Develop and implement seller success plans to grow strategic accounts, strengthen long-term partnerships, and recruit new sellers to expand inventory

  • Partner with Product and the Global Business Unit to design and launch features that improve the buyer and seller experience, contributing to business requirements, ideation, and research validation

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Site Merchandising, PR, and Social teams to deliver integrated onsite and offsite campaigns that increase consideration, traffic, and conversion

  • Represent the Collectables category internally and externally, sharing insights and building engagement across communities

What you will bring:

  • Experience in, or a strong demonstrated passion for, the Collectibles market

  • Ability to analyse data, extract key insights, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build clear and compelling presentations

  • Strategic thinking skills with a proactive, results-focused approach

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced online or e-commerce environment

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to achieve shared goals

  • Adaptability and agility when responding to changing priorities
