TITLE: Cloud Support Intern

DEPARTMENT: GSS Business Applications and Governance

REPORTING TO: VP, GSS Business Applications & Governance

OFFICE LOCATION: Madrid

ROLE TYPE: Internship, Hybrid 

DURATION: June 2nd, 2025, until July 31st, 2025


Overview of the Global Internship Program: 

Our 2025 Global Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in their field of study, offering professional growth, mentorship, and valuable networking opportunities.

What does the internship program entail? 

You will participate in a variety of programs including but not limited to wellness initiatives, team-building activities, networking events, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. These experiences will help you develop both personally and professionally.

As a GSS Intern, you’ll spend the summer with our GSS team, working with dedicated and experienced colleagues to find solutions for clients. You’ll become a member of a specific group, working on real assignments and making a genuine impact on our business. You may:   

•    Perform administrative duties and provide support (as directed) for the following strategic projects and key departmental initiatives: 
o    Implementation of new Service Cloud (ITSM). 
o    Improving process and automation for GSS internal monitoring.  
o    Working with cross-functional groups on source data clean-up initiatives. 

•    Continual Service Improvement & General Admin
o    Assisting with internal business and customer performance metrics (access and training on the current ITSM, Portal, and Business Objects tools/applications required). 
o    Assisting with compiling and updating GSS Partner Interlock Agreements.
o    General Housekeeping - identifying gaps in existing processes and suggesting improvements (GSOC SharePoint clean up, updating Process documentation, etc…).

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in the Role: 

•    Recent graduate or be in your last year of a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
•    Excellent English language skills 
•    Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
•    Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on detail
•    Comfortable navigating through ambiguous and ever-changing situations
•    Excellent numerical skills and ability to distinguish between reliable and unreliable data
•    Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications 
•    Good attention to detail

Additional Information:

We spend around 60% of our time in the office and around 40% of our time working remotely. Some individuals may be required to work from the office or client sites more than 60% of the time, if required by their role and/or client needs.  

Your precise work schedule will be determined by you, your Line Manager and HR before commencement of your internship program with IPC.
