Job Description

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments to ensure high availability and performance. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring cloud resources, providing recommendations for optimization, and implementing best practices for security, cost management, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the cloud infrastructure services (compute, network, storage, etc);
  • Oversee the migration of applications and services from AWS to Azure;
  • Monitor and optimize performance and costs associated with the Azure infrastructure;
  • Train and advise other teams on Azure best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to development teams throughout the migration process.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response activities to support production systems.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong understanding of fundamental AWS and Azure concepts and services.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Expertise in managing resources with Azure Resource Manager.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) would be a plus.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud environments would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) would be a plus.
  • Good level of French is mandatory.
  • Good level of English would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identify and resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, quickly adapting to changing technologies and business needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and effectively for team knowledge sharing.
