About the Role

Come join our team in automating and creating a customer-centric and secure user experience around unified endpoints, cloud telephony, cloud storage and messaging. Our team is developing repeatable patterns in delivering endpoint productivity tools around Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Box, Slack, Teams and Zoom.

As a tech lead, you’ll provide technical leadership and guide your team through technical decisions, foster collaboration, and combine technical expertise with leadership skills. You’ll play a crucial role in automating processes ensuring efficiency and reliability for the Unified Endpoint and Communications teams. Your ability to communicate effectively, mentor junior engineers, and navigate project management complexities will be essential to your success.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide expertise in the rapid development of proof-of-concepts to validate potential code solutions while mitigating development risks early in the process.

  • Build CI/CD pipelines to automate manual tasks to enhance the end-user experience and productivity.

  • Contribute to the development of organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for automation.

  • Working with and empowering local and remote team members to ensure that implementations align with the CIO strategy while providing technical mentoring around automation and issue resolution.

  • Partner with architects to take solution ideas through discovery, architecture and implementation and provide technical steering to the team for successful delivery.

  • Communicate tasks, challenges, and workflows across a globally distributed team at all levels.

  • Provide guidance to and elevate endpoint security to align with industry best practice.

  • Documentation of solutions, decisions, discoveries and creation of work tasks for the team to deliver.

  • Work within the following levels of the SFIA Framework:

    • Skills & Craft: Level 4 in PROG, SINT, SCTY and ITOP; Level 5 in SLEN and METL.

    • Responsibilities: Level 5 in Autonomy, Business Skills Level, Complexity, Influence and Knowledge.

What You'll Learn

What You’ll Need

  • Master's degree in a related field

  • 5+ years experience in CI/CD

  • Excellent scripting skills in Typescript.

  • 5+ years experience in managing IT infrastructure.

  • AZ-400 certification

  • IaC tool experience (Pulumi)

  • Excellent understanding of agile development methodologies.

  • Excellent understanding in IT security concepts and their application in code development.

  • Soft skills - excellent oral and written communication and very comfortable with presenting to varied technical & non-technical audiences with an ability to influence.
