  • Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, resilience, security, governance and cost optimisation.
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, storage and integration challenges.
  • Produce architecture documentation, technical designs and implementation guidance.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into effective cloud solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage and identity.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Files, Azure Storage and hybrid file-sharing solutions.
  • Experience designing and supporting Azure storage migrations and integration with on-premise environments.
  • Good understanding of Azure networking, including VNets, private endpoints, VPNs and hybrid connectivity.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management and cloud security.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
  • Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, CI/CD and deployment automation.
  • Scripting or development experience using PowerShell, Python, C# or similar.
  • Experience designing secure, highly available and resilient cloud solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary technical and delivery teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

Experience across some of the following would be beneficial:

  • Azure File Sync, Azure NetApp Files and enterprise storage solutions.
  • Azure Virtual Desktop and enterprise file services.
  • Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid identity environments.
  • Azure Backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), containers and cloud-native technologies.
  • Azure Functions, APIs and application integration.
  • GitHub Actions or wider DevOps tooling.
  • Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and cloud observability.
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure security governance.
