Department Overview & Mission

The Client Solutions department is at the forefront of Fenergo’s growth strategy. The team works closely with prospective clients to showcase the product’s capabilities and align solutions to client needs. By leveraging deep industry and product knowledge, the team helps clients achieve both tactical and strategic goals, demonstrating the quantifiable value Fenergo can deliver.

The department prides itself on a consultative, client-focused approach: building strong relationships, collaborating with customers, and driving industry-leading change. Its mission is clear: “to deliver the ACV target by being the best at our craft… we exist to win in all arenas.”

Purpose of the Role

This specialised pre-sales role requires in-depth knowledge of Client Lifecycle Management from a functional, technical, implementation and operational perspective. The role demands strong communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse EMEA markets. As a predominantly client-facing position, it requires someone who can quickly understand critical client needs, draw on industry best practice, and outline optimal solutions.

The Senior Client Solutions Consultant will work closely with the Regional Head of Client Solutions (EMEA), the Head of Sales (EMEA), and the wider EMEA sales team. Together, you will plan and execute strategies to support client needs using the Fenergo platform. The role involves detailed technical and functional support throughout the sales cycle, including demonstrations, workshops, and senior-level client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery

  • Partner with the Regional EMEA Client Solutions Lead and EMEA Sales team to plan and execute opportunities from qualification through to closure.
  • Clearly communicate the product capabilities of the Fenergo platform, aligning these to client-specific needs through RFP responses, product demonstrations, solutioning workshops, and scope assessments.
  • Deliver “Proof of Concept” and “Proof of Value” exercises based on high-level requirements, often under tight deadlines.
  • Lead on-site or virtual engagements to understand client processes, requirements, and architecture; facilitate solution discussions that map challenges to Fenergo’s capabilities.
  • Proactively scope functional and technical requirements, assessing both met and unmet client needs, and recommend solutions that optimise value for both client and Fenergo.
  • Use knowledge of competitive offerings and deep financial domain expertise to shape winning solution strategies.
  • Maintain and expand working knowledge of the Fenergo platform; provide structured feedback to Product Management on enhancements.
  • Take ownership of quality and usability of all client deliverables within EMEA.

Organisation & Team Collaboration

  • Drive best practice adoption within the EMEA Client Solutions team.
  • Identify and implement delivery efficiencies (process or tooling-related) and roll them out across the region and globally.
  • Play a key role in shaping EMEA input into the Global Client Solutions strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Client Services, Product Engineering, Product Management, Sales) to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Build strong relationships across client teams and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between Sales and Professional Services.
  • Keep abreast of industry, regulatory, and product changes, applying them in client engagements.
  • Contribute to employee development by mentoring and sharing expertise with junior colleagues.

Requirements

Desired Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in pre-sales, consulting, or solution delivery within the financial services software industry.
  • Proven success working with complex clients across multiple business segments, including C-level engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative skills with the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.
  • Results-driven, self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise multiple initiatives under tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Computing, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong client-facing skills; able to confidently “own the room” with senior stakeholders.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, with strong logic and problem-solving ability.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services, client lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance processes.
