The Role

The Client Services Associate will provide a central first-line Client Service and Operational Support function for our institutional clients. It is imperative that the Client Services Associate ensures the clients' operational and onboarding requirements are met. There is an additional focus on trading system functionalities, trading protocols and client satisfaction.

How You'll Help Take Us There

  • Champion Client Success: Be the go-to expert for Broker/Dealers and investor clients on the MarketAxess platforms, delivering proactive, high-touch service.
  • Solve Real Problems: Respond to client inquiries with speed and precision - whether it’s reports, user setups, or data changes, you’ll make things happen.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Sales, Dealer Relationship Managers, and Technology to resolve issues, drive system enhancements, and deliver new releases.
  • Lead System Demos & Installs: Guide clients through trading system installations and demos, ensuring they’re set up for success.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Partner with stakeholders to tackle escalations and implement solutions that elevate client satisfaction.

What We're Looking for

  • 2+ years of previous experience in operations or customer service positions in the financial services sector 
  • Series 99 required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal skills - you know how to connect and inspire
  • Initiative: A self-starter with tenacity and the ability to motivate those around you
  • Attention to Detail: You follow through and never miss the small stuff
  • Client Focus: You thrive in client-facing roles and love building relationships
  • Multitasking: Juggle priorities with ease in a fast-paced environment
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Excel and quick to learn new systems
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $70,000 USD to $85,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
