Job Description

As a Client Services Analyst within the EMEA Credit Derivatives Middle Office, you will be dedicated to providing critical trade lifecycle support to clients trading Credit Default Swap products. Our client base includes large Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Banks and Hedge Funds. You will provide a specialist service to front office sales businesses based in EMEA region. The role will provide you with opportunities to partner with multiple groups in JPMorgan, including other Middle and Back Office teams, Technology, Reference Data as well as front office Sales People, external custodians and clients.
Job responsibilities

  • Ensures operations are booked and allocated in a timely manner
  • Supports clients in their various queries
  • Performs numerous control reconciliations to verify positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, middle office to back office reconciliations
  • Investigates and provide solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations
  • Completes operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations)


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
  • Process flow understanding, including ability to understand flows and linkage between systems and think how the process can be improved/streamlined
  • Previous experience in Finance industry
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail. Accuracy is critical to eliminate financial risk and maintain a strong client relationship
  • A flexible, proactive attitude towards work is required as individual must be responsive with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, with a strong awareness of risk and control issues
  • Ability to work well under pressure and think creatively
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver successfully
