Client Relationship Director Third Party Relationships - Global Wealth

This is a great job for someone who has good asset management industry knowledge combined with experience of dealing with GFI/Wealth clients and operational processes

A bit about the job:

As a Client Relationship Director Third Party Relationships - Global Wealth, you will be responsible for managing, servicing, and developing relationships with a defined group of third-party managers, marketers, and strategic partners based predominantly in Southern Europe, The Americas offshore, and the Middle East across a range of different asset classes and products. You will identify potential cross-selling opportunities and lead relevant activities with internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide a bridge between our investment teams and third-party managers to disseminate key information and materials for PEP (Promote, Emerging, Protect) products. You will identify risks to existing relationships and implement appropriate retention strategies. Your role will also involve coordinating and hosting formal client meetings and due diligence visits, providing updates on fund and market performance with the support of the Investment Director or Portfolio Manager as appropriate. Furthermore, you will own and coordinate the prompt resolution of client issues, including reporting, performance, technical fund, and fee billing queries. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across all Aviva Investors business areas will be essential to your success in this role.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Language skills Italian or Spanish

  • Relevant degree – or equivalent experience and IMC or equivalent.

  • A strong collaborator able to build effective relationships with different business areas across Aviva Investors.

  • Practical awareness of relevant regulatory requirements and distributor oversight.

  • A strong communicator able to listen to clients, understand their issues and deal with people at all levels.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in

  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus

  • Family friendly parental and carer’s leave

  • Generous holiday entitlement plus bank holidays with the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days

  • Up to 40% discount for Aviva products

  • Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars

  • Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme

  • 21 volunteering hours per year

In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.

We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you. Most of our people are smart working –spending around 50% of their time in our offices every week - combining the benefits of flexibility, with time together with colleagues.
