We’re hiring for a Client Managing Partner to join the team in London managing a great portfolio of clients.

Purpose of the Role

As Client Managing Partner you’ll play a senior leadership role at Dentsu X, owning and driving the relationship and output across a portfolio of clients, including one of the worlds' most famous beer and cider companies.  You will lead, inspire and motivate our people within the group to deliver best in class service and output for your clients by ensuring the right team fit.  You will also take an active role in business development, new business leadership and will part of the dentsu X leadership team

Developing a deep understanding of how each client’s business operates and what their key objectives and challenges are, you’ll use this knowledge to improve the partnership and develop dentsu solutions to help your clients achieve their business goals; ultimately driving growth, revenue and profitability for both the client and dentsu. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a true Business Partner: Own the client relationships within the group, improving, developing and ensuring excellence in client service and moving us from a service provider to a true business partner.
  • Nurture, progress & retain our talent: Lead and inspire the team in your group - creating a positive team dynamic where great work and behaviours can be exhibited. Managing and coaching the Client Partners to ensure we are growing and developing talent.
  • Deliver commercial objectives & growth: Developing deep understanding of the clients’ business through the CCO and Client Partners to develop & action strategic client development growth plans as to how we deepen, grow & sustain our partnerships across Dentsu.
  • Forward looking, best-in-class output: Driving best-in-class work from across the group of clients that has growth focus, bravery and innovation at its heart, enabling the team to deliver market leading strategy and planning through our data and tech capabilities.
  • Lead & win key pitches: Successfully leading key new business activities by playing an active role in pitch management across all deliverables.
  • Relentless focus on innovation: Identify routes to market and marketing solutions which make our clients stand out and deliver business growth

Qualifications + Skills

  • Solid background working in media agencies with strong evidence of media innovation and a deep understanding of creativity within media.
  • Background in brand building, with a deep understanding of the roles played by data-driven targeting and retail media.
  • Ability to understand and deliver positive value add and impact to a client’s business performance, can design solutions outside of a pure media scope.
  • A track record of generating revenue for your agency and market-leading work for your clients through your ability to see situations from a commercial perspective.
  • Extensive and proven experience of leading a team of high performing individuals within the media space. 
  • Expert in working with different internal and external stakeholders to maximise commercial returns and identify new opportunities

  • The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office twice a week.
