Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Client Finance Manager to oversee financial management and accounting for client-managed spend budgets. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing a finance team, and ensuring compliance with internal and client policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive financial efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Account Directors and Client Accounting Directors to ensure contract obligations are met.

  • Lead and develop a client accounting team, overseeing financial transactions, purchase orders, invoice processing, and vendor payments.

  • Manage the preparation and delivery of monthly financial reports, budget vs. actual reporting, and variance analysis.

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial data reporting for internal corporate purposes.

  • Maintain compliance with client, internal, and statutory regulations, including VAT and audit requirements.

  • Support financial modeling, budgeting processes, and ad-hoc financial projects.

  • Oversee financial aspects of new account and location transitions.

Role Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant or relevant degree with a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proven experience in team management, including performance reviews and development planning.

  • Experience in multi-currency financial reporting and knowledge of IFRS, UK, and US GAAP is desirable.

  • Proficiency in major accounting applications and financial processes, ideally within property services.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites and corporate offices.
