POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Account Executive will be a high-velocity, demand-creation leader responsible for accelerating revenue growth in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. This role is highly strategic, focusing capacity on markets with faster procurement cycles and strong alignment to Sayari's core use cases in sanctions, border security, financial crime, and defense intelligence. You will operate with significant autonomy, taking Empowered Ownership of the CEE territory to build qualified pipeline, secure early customer footholds, and convert demand into revenue. The successful candidate must be a proven operator in navigating complex government sales environments and be comfortable creating demand where none currently exists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and execute the full sales cycle for the CEE region, prioritizing the development and conversion of new logo opportunities.
  • Proactively build and manage a qualified pipeline through outbound activities, partner-led opportunity development, and engagement with priority CEE government agencies.
  • Conduct early-stage discovery and qualification with budget-holders and key sponsors to progress funded opportunities through complex government procurement pathways.
  • Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships with multi-stakeholder decision-makers within defense, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies across CEE.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams to align Sayari's platform capabilities with the specific mission needs of CEE clients.
  • Develop repeatable Playbooks for CEE-specific procurement, partnerships, and use cases to multiply the effectiveness of the broader EMEA sales motion.
  • Spend time in the region (ideally 2+ days a week) engaging with current customers for expansion and new prospects for growth, including attending and hosting events.
  • Manage territory planning, forecasting, and reporting with discipline, providing clarity and rigor on expected outcomes and pipeline progression velocity.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7–12 years of demonstrable success in selling complex solutions into government, defense, intelligence, or law enforcement environments.
  • Proven ability to create demand and close multi-year, multi-figure Enterprise or Government deals from scratch, without reliance on inbound leads or existing tender processes.
  • Strong understanding of procurement cycles, RFPs, and navigating multi-stakeholder decision-making across government agencies.
  • High proficiency in pipeline management, qualification discipline, and forecasting with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Fluency in English and profound professional ability in either Polish or German.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience selling data analytics, risk intelligence, compliance, or investigation platforms.
  • Existing relationships within CEE government, regulatory, or security agencies.
  • Experience working with regional partners and Systems Integrators (SIs).
  • Exposure to sanctions, AML, border security, or financial crime use cases.
  • Fluency in another regional CEE language

BENEFITS:
  • A collaborative, fun, and positive culture - you will be part of a successful team passionate about the mission and driving business growth
  • Outstanding competitive compensation package
  • Performance and incentive bonuses
  • Exceedingly generous vacation leave, parental leave, floating holidays, flexible schedule, & other remarkable benefits
  • Eligibility to participate in our UK pension plan with a company-sponsored match
  • A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Limitless growth and learning opportunities
  • Conference & Continuing Education Coverage
  • Team building events & opportunities
