The purpose of this role is to provide strategic recommendations and manage all resources to ensure the Client’s marketing needs are met. They are viewed as a trusted advisor to client, understands and articulates client business insights and leverages to contribute ways to move business forward, lead and monitor the day-to-day activities; proactively identify new business building insights and opportunities, manage, motivate and develop their team; work with other departments to develop and execute strategies that will build the Client’s business.

Job Description:

The role

The Client Director, Audiences & Culture is a senior, client-facing role responsible for delivering market-leading audience consultancy to our clients. This includes advising on how to effectively leverage first-, second-, and third-party data to optimise media investment, improve targeting strategies, and drive stronger business outcomes. 
 

What you’ll do
 

Audience Strategy & Growth:  

  • Build compelling, insightled client narratives that link audience strategy directly to business challenges and growth KPIs. 

  • Support client adoption of dentsu.Audiences (dentsu’s proprietary audience and identity solution.) 

Activation & Measurement:  

  • Work alongside our Data & Tech team to advise clients on the right data and tech approaches required to improve audience performance across media channels. 

  • Work with channel buying teams to devise channel level test and learn agendas, create hypotheses, and concisely convert insights into actionable optimisations that deliver long term growth for clients.

  • Work with Dentsus measurement specialists to devise measurement frameworks that enable clients to best understand business impact of data-driven approaches in driving outcomes.

Thought Leadership 

  • Act as a thought leader, championing audience-first solutions within the organisation.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and data strategies. 

About you

  • BA/BS degree or relevant combination of education and experience.

    5+ years of agency experience in client facing audience data-based strategy roles.

    Proven track record of defining and delivering data driven marketing strategies.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills commensurate to deliver strategy to senior level stakeholders.

    Proven, strong cross-functional and cross-agency management, interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills.
